CII IWN Southern Region New Chairperson: Today Current Affairs In English
Shalini Warrier has been elected as the Chairperson of the Southern Region of the CII-Indian Women Network (IWN). The Kochi-based Federal Bank COO, Shalini Warrier, is now promoted to a higher position in CII-IWN. She is a Chartered Accountant and a former chairwoman of IWN Kerala. She has been involved in IWN for a number of years. As a Deputy Chairperson Shobha Dixit has been appointed. Shobha Dixit is an ALPLA India’s Director which is located in Hyderabad. The rigid packaging and materials division is where the company works. Both will remain in their current roles for a year.

President Approved ‘NCT’ (Amendment) Act 2021: Today Current Affairs For SSC
The National Capital Territory of Delhi ‘NCT‘ Amendment Act 2021 was approved by President Ram Nath Kovind. The bill was passed in the Lok Sabha on March 22nd, and in the Rajya Sabha on March 24th. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi would gain more power as a result of this bill. With the passage of this new rule, the Lieutenant Governor is now the government in Delhi. The President of the National Capital Territory of Delhi Government (Amendment) Bill 2021 was approved by the government, according to a notification. Finally, before imposing any legislation, the Delhi government would have to request the Lieutenant Governor’s approval.

‘Passsex’ Exercise: Free Current Affairs Of Today
On March 28, 2021, India and the United States began a two-day naval exercise in the eastern Indian Ocean, representing the two countries increasing security and military cooperation. The Indian Navy has participated in the ‘Passsex’ exercise with its warship Shivalik and long-range maritime patrol aircraft P8I. The USS Theodore Roosevelt ‘Career Strike Group’ represented the US Navy in the exercise. In addition to an aircraft carrier, the Carrier Strike Group consists of a large fleet of Nassena, which includes a destroyer vessel, and other ships. The exercise also includes combat aircraft from the Indian Air Force, according to a Navy spokesman.

ARHC Scheme: Today Current Affairs
The government of Uttar Pradesh is preparing to launch an affordable rental housing scheme for students, urban migrants, and needy city people. Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, proposed the Affordable Rental Housing and Complexes (ARHC) system. People from widows, scheduled tribes, and other backward groups would be given priority. Two models will be used to implement the ARHC system. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be used to execute this scheme (Urban). The ARHC will be designed, operated, and maintained by public or private bodies. Vacant houses that have been subsidized by the central or state governments may also be turned into ARHCs.

Shaheen-1A Tested Successfully: Daily Current Affairs Of March 2021
Pakistan successfully tested the nuclear-capable Shaheen-1A, which targeted surface-to-surface targets at speeds of up to 900 km/h. The test was performed by the Pakistani military to evaluate the weapon’s architecture and technical aspects, which included an automated guiding device. The Pakistani army’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), has issued a statement to the public regarding the launch and testing of Shaheen-1A. President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated the Shaheen-1A scientists and engineers on their successful launch.
