Hyderabad-Warangal Industrial Corridor: Latest Current Affairs
The Telangana government has decided to make industrial development by adding resources along the important national and state highways. So the Department of Industries has proposed the six industrial corridors under the new Industrial Policy 2014. The government aims to attract investment and increase employment in the districts by setting up industrial clusters. Hyderabad-Warangal, Hyderabad-Nagpur, Hyderabad-Bangalore, Hyderabad-Mannarlaya, Hyderabad-Nalgonda, and Hyderabad-Khammam are six Industrial Corridors. In the first phase, Govt will develop the Warangal, Nagpur and Bangalore corridors. Three more corridors are to be developed in the second phase of the new Industrial Policy (TSIPAS).
