IMAC Approved New Proposals: Latest Current Affairs Today
On Friday, October 29th, Union Minister of Food Processing Industries Pashupati Kumar Paras presided over an Inter-Ministerial Approval Committee (IMAC) meeting to review proposals received under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana‘s Scheme for Creation of Infrastructure for Agro-Processing Cluster. During the meeting, IMAC accepted seven bids totaling over 216 crore rupees in project cost. This comprises around 52 crore rupees in grants-in-aid in the states and union territories of Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu. These initiatives are estimated to produce 12,400 jobs and benefit 28,000 farmers, with a total private investment of roughly 163 crore rupees. Flight-test Long Range Bomb: Free Current Affairs of Today
The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) have successfully flight-tested an indigenously manufactured Long-Range Bomb from an aerial platform. The Long-Range Bomb is directed to a land-based target at a long-range with precision within set limitations after being released by an IAF fighter aircraft. All of the mission’s goals were completed successfully. A variety of range sensors, including the Electro-Optical Tracking System, Telemetry, and radar installed at the Integrated Test Range, Chandipur in Odisha, observed the bomb’s flight and performance.
