New CEO of UIDAI: Important Current Affairs Of March 2021
The Unique Identification Authority of India(UIDAI) has named Saurabh Garg as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Garg is an IAS officer from the 1991 batch who is currently serving in Odisha’s state cadre. According to the Ministry of Personnel order, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved Garg’s appointment as the CEO of UIDAI. The Aadhaar card is issued by the UIDAI in India.

The Rajya Sabha approved the formation of a National Bank (NABFID Bill/National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development) to provide credit for infrastructure and development projects on 25th March. AP Launches Ambulances For Cattle: Free Current Affairs Of Today
Andhra Pradesh’s state government, which has been providing medical treatment to cattle in the state by introducing Ambulance services. The state has 46 lakh cows, 62.19 lakh buffaloes, 1.76 crore sheep, 55.22 lakh goats, 92 thousand pigs, and 10.79 lakh poultry, according to the 2019 Livestock Census. A toll-free number with the prefix ‘1962‘ has also been created to access the services of this mobile hospital at any time. It was agreed to introduce mobile veterinary clinics to each constituency at a rate of one per constituency. In rural areas, the toll-free number would also be used for cows, buffaloes, goats, sheep, and domestic chickens.

Former RBI Deputy Governor Passed Away: Daily Current Affairs Of March 2021
K. C. Chakraborty, the former Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), died of a heart attack at his Mumbai home. Between 15 June 2009 and 25 April 2014, he was the RBI’s Deputy Governor. However, He resigned three months before the end of his term for personal reasons. He also worked at the Banaras Hindu University as a professor and researcher. Chakraborty spent two years as Chairman and Managing Director of Punjab National Bank, Indian Bank, before joining the RBI. He was also the Chairman of the Indian Banks Association for a while (IBA).

Anil Dharkar, a journalist, editor, and writer, died of a heart attack on March 26, 2021. The Mumbai International Literature Festival was founded by Anil Dharkar.
